Editing together the stories for our documentary series on Waterford Speedbowl history has been a daunting task as it involves hundreds, if not thousands of pictures and video clips to put together.  We’ve been fortunate to have an extensive archive already dating back to 2005 when we first started our historical research of the track and created speedbowlhistory.com.  As we did more research & interviews for the documentary series, the stories we wanted to tell began to take shape.  With the help of numerous families in the Speedbowl community over the years who have lent us scrapbooks, photos, memorabilia, videos, trade papers and old programs (including almost all of the people we’ve interviewed and most of the track’s photographers & videographers over the years) we’ve uncovered a ton of rare material.  And all of these things can be used in the final edit, and really help tell the stories in great detail.  With all that said, we are still looking for more to complete this project.

So if you have a box of old programs in the garage, tons of Speedbowl pics in the attic or a box of old VHS tapes in the back of the closet, we implore you to dig them out and see if you can help!!
